Combat / Systems Designer
Character Progression
- Responsible for all the design and balance of all character abilities, traits and ultimates
- Responsible for 4 different talent trees for all characters
Equipment – Weapons, Armors, Shields & Charms
- Responsible for unique equipment items
- Designed and balanced all equipment’s base stats (damage, speed, range, width)
- Designed and balanced all active and passive equipment abilities
Progression System & Economy
- Responsible for the entire progression system that permanently unlocks equipment items and economy used to buy items
- Balanced the material drop rate used to unlock equipment from all enemies and chests
- Balanced the currency drop rate used to purchase items from all enemies and chests
Bosses & Enemies:
- Designed and balanced enemy behaviours and attack patterns
- Balanced their Health and Attack damage variables
- Adjusted their anticipation, connection and recovery animation frame timings
General
- Maintaining game design documents and spreadsheets used to convey designs and balance
- Overseeing 2 Junior Game Designers and 1 Graduate Game Designer on the project
